Organize Your Own Healthy Active Challenge
Healthy Active Challenge Coalition will not be hosting the Challenge in 2008. We've made resources available to help you start your own Challenge within your workplace, church, civic group, family or neighborhood. You are welcome to adapt the materials to suit your needs. So..get a group together, set a date and get busy eating fruits and vegetables and moving more. If we can help in your healthy endeavors please let us know.

Learn how to put wellness to work for our organization. With the right tools, you can improve the wellness culture of your organization while capturing the fiscal advantages of a healthier, more productive work force. Our speaker will present information on the value of incorporating healthy practices into the workplace and will give you examples and tools for getting started. The information from this presentation can be applied to employers of various sizes and from various industries. Informational booths representing local health and wellness resources will be present before and after the program.

Our speaker, David Hudson, comes to us from the Oregon Health Division's Physical Activity and Nutrition Program. He coordinates worksite wellness programs at 28 worksites across Oregon through the Centers for Disease Control-funded "Healthy Worksites Initiative."
